Svantaggi
As a female software engineer, I have never seen a more toxic workplace in my entire life. A lot of misogynous and downright hurtful comments made as jokes would be made out in the open, When asked about this, you're given "Oh it's just our culture, we like to have fun" or "It's just a joke, get over it". Lack Of Organization For Tickets: Tickets would often be made with simple headings with no descriptions or a single screenshot. Advancement: There are no opportunities since there is no clear roadmap of how to proceed. You're often told that if you do more work, we'll see etc, only to realize you're there forever. Favorites: There were clearly favorites that were supported and promoted while others were criticized for weird things. You aren't measured for how good you are, only for how well you are liked if you comply with how crazy and messed up this place is. Bullying: The amount of bullying is ridiculous. On pull requests, you're often ridiculed for not doing certain things, or not having enough skill to perform something. This extends beyond this since a lot of people talk smack behind each other's back. What could have been a supportive environment to grow becomes this ridicule fest where you're constantly criticized but never thanked, acknowledged, or provided positive feedback. Disrespect Among Teammates: The amount of bullying and mean comments and jokes towards each other both at the office and in Slack chat was unreal, and made for an awful toxic and inappropriate environment. Advice: Stay away from any of these medical staffing companies, they are not worth your time. Even if you're thinking about it, don't, there is always a better company than this.
