At OpenEye, the work we do is meaningful and challenging. We are always tackling new technological challenges. We have a customer driven approach where we can see the result our work has on solving the needs of our customers. Our company values their employee as a person and as a part of our community. Good work life balance is encouraged and thus our retention rate is very high. We have many senior developers who have been here since the building of our new product (9+ years). The developers here care very much a bout doing things the right way, and building products that we are proud of and will be maintaining and improving for many years to come. We are growing quickly, and this has afforded many exciting opportunities for advancement within the company, as well as a broadening of technical areas for us to learn and grow in our careers. Our companies commitment to our community is really great. We have many great events, including a community bike building event where we partner with the local school district to teach kids about computers and video cameras, as well as building over 100 bikes with the students and giving them an early Christmas present of a new bike!
