While not a con for all, this position relies heavily on self-management. The company generously encourages its property managers to “run this facility as if it were your own business” and rewards and encourages when initiative is taken.
It was extremely difficult to get initiatives approved or in motion by corporate because it was too hard to keep up with who to ask, or who was in charge of handling the request. We had 5 different Leads over the course of 6 months and we had to spend time getting them up to speed each time. Barely anything major got accomplished.
