Undoubtedly the quality of the people - the long-time 'Overlanders' - that remain, their passion and commitment to the company's success, utter dedication. Very informal - but highly productive - work environment, most departments still very supportive of flexible working - but be prepared for very long hours. Still some opportunities to be promoted from within (but see Cons for why...) Recent hires have been able to demand huge numbers of options - there's a very very small chance the company could make it big, one day - make sure you get rich if they do!

Quarterly - soon monthly? - layoffs as the business desperately tries to reach break-even; very high voluntary employee turnover as a result of poor morale, huge pay and benefit cuts, culture of fear created by the new exec team - continual rumors that San Diego facility will be closed completely. Company has repeatedly outsourced major business functions, unsuccessfully, then pulled them back in-house for a year or two before trying again. Poor communication between the exec team, and increasingly between the execs themselves, resulting in misdirection, wasted budgets, loss of focus. Back office and operations staff now cut to the point where the company might just implode.
