Vantaggi

• There are some great people at POSSIBLE • Fun company activities especially if you like drinking • Decent work/life balance • They've managed to convince everyone in Seattle that they're the best place to work

Svantaggi

I've never worked for a company that tries so hard to convey that they're different and that they care about their employees, but then their actions tell a completely different story. Have some integrity. • No employee-training • No clear process given on how to get a raise or a promotion - vague answers by HR seem to be a run-around • Management is very inconsistent - people who are too young or have played politics in a way that only benefits themselves and not the careers they manage • There are the chosen few who have become the darlings of management and then the rest of the POSSIBLE folks who slug along until they figure out the game they can't win • Near cult-like mentality around company events, company meetings and company culture that masks what people aren't getting out of the company in terms of career growth • Many promises made but none kept

Vantaggi

There are some very talented people who work at Possible - some ppl that I still miss. I was particularly impressed by some of the talent in South America: the agency acquired Gringo and another agency while I was there. Being able to pick those guys' brains was inspiring. The agency is a decent stepping stone - as long as you are proactive in managing your career, assignments, and other people's perception of you. I was in the Cincinnati office, which has a tiny job market. So it's easy for some ppl to just stay and stay and stay. When I was there, you could get lost in the work and the challenges and have fun carving out your own path. It was a lot of hours, but you could fast-track yourself.

Svantaggi

Some very embarrassing/scandalous choices were made for the Cincinnati office's "C-suite" a few years back, but those folks have exited the agency after their dangerous experiments. Now, with Shane Atchison at the wheel, hopefully morale has lifted as he appears to be a credible leader and has a proven track record. The agency pays on the poor to middling scale and attracts talent that tends toward the very inexperienced and the also-rans. If you are seeking to do great work, you need a strong team that mixes seasoned veterans with junior talent. Unfortunately, this is can't occur with the mix they have. Junior account ppl and project managers can be exhausting - and any talented and/or smart young talent at Possible tend to not get the training they need. Unfortunately they end up fleeing and being nurtured elsewhere.
