There are some great people to work with within the Huntsville facility.

Lack of direction from management, middle management, and senior management. Lack of vision throughout the whole aerospace sector of the business. The current plant manager (2022-2023) is eliminating many senior management positions with 8+ years of experience with no clear direction to replace them with qualified individuals. No HR representation; Directed to call a 1-800 number instead of resolving the issue on time and in real-time. Absences pay for performance. (Majority gets a mediocre 2.5-3% pay increase.) Challenging to move up within the company. (Either blocked by management because they can't give you up or insufficient people qualified to hire individuals that make the correct assessment of individual's qualifications.) Has not kept up with the median pay and benefits package for Rocket City (Huntsville) and surrounding areas. ( I could drop french fries for $17 an hour or deal with the headache of PPG for $17 an hour.) Diversity & Inclusion is shoved down your thought as a corporate goal. However, management excludes ordinary people, me and you. (I have no group to belong to.) Outside of Huntsville, senior management (executives) are leaving the organization.

- Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

- Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
