Location.... Pride Global is located in the GrayBar building, which is attached to Grand Central Station. Anyone who has commuted into NYC will know the value. You will see a lot of employees that will say the Happy Hours. But drinkers beware..... they have no liquor permit, no one watching liquor consumption, and have not cleaned out the beer tap since it was installed (several years ago).

Where to begin..... Well let's start with the fact that there is NO HR department , which is by design so that that CEO can treat this company as his kingdom and not a legitimate organization that values and protects its employees. Working for this company you will never feel secure in your job or supported in anyway. Instead you will experience a stressful and anxiety inducing environment where the CEO will embarrasses employees at will for any reason that he sees fit and rewards his favorites with inappropriate gifts. If you ever want to know who his favorites are just look for the black Louboutin heels, a gift from the CEO. Make no mistake that this company runs on a currency of fear, not necessarily the fear of the CEO but the fear of what the Talent Engagement team is telling him. This team is made up of employees that could not survive in other roles but are favorites of the the CEO, so they were moved onto this team that has no real function. At Pride Global, if you have any measure of success that does not give credit to the Talent Engagement Team, you will be warned (by other employees) that they will try and take credit for your work and soon after you will become a target. The countdown to your dismissal will begin, eventually you will be told that it doesn't matter how good you are at you job, how much money you bring in, how many employees you recruit, or how liked and valued you are by your colleagues. If that team feels threatened or outshined in anyway you suddenly are no longer considered a "cultural fit" and you are going to be "phased out". This division of the company has absolute rule and can turn the CEO's head in any direction that they want in order to destroy their current target, once that objective is achieved they move onto the next victim. This mean girl culture is encouraged and to some extent enjoyed by the CEO, and those who speak up against it are silenced. Complaints and reviews of these practices and this team are openly mocked and laughed at. Be warned, those work in the orbit of the Talent Engagement Team have a shelf life of no longer than a year but the vast majority will be phased out at the 3 month mark for not being a cultural fit.
