Pay was decent. Work was challenging. Bonuses are great. Company vehicle was great. Some very nice people that are not in management.

Insurance benefits suck. Very poor coverage and high deductibles with high premiums. Most managers are worthless as they don't know a thing about managing or even leading a department. People are promoted to those positions based on longevity, good ole boy, or some other behind the door deal. There is very little inside promotion for those proven Expected to work long hours but not rewarded for it. Safety messages were a joke as you get inundated with 3 messages a day about the same crap yet no one wants to do anything about changing the fearful backstabbing culture. Don't even get me starting on the unions. They are the biggest whiners and ungrateful bunch I have ever worked with and managed. The rift between them and management was so unbelievably large that it would take a miracle to change it.

This company promotes bullying and has zero work life balance, they basically have reverted back to the 50s in relation to office first policy! So equated and behind the generations. The CEO Darin Carroll of Pacificorp was on a zoom call saying how he dislikes WFH as he was obviously at home on the call, you just can't make this stuff up, VPs quit and they turn around and get promoted because no one wants to work for a culture of favoritism and bullying!
