More than any company I've ever worked for, Panasonic (Newark HQ) treats you with respect and dignity. They have the best corporate culture I have experienced in my 30 years in the workforce. There is no, at least not in my experience, bad mouthing people behind their backs and nasty office politics. People are pleasant, friendly and hard-working. Another great plus is, they really value work-life balance. Managers expect you to produce, of course, but not at the expense of your family. And not staying in the office crazy hours to the point where you have no life outside of work. Also, there is great flexibility in dealing with personal issues where you may need to leave early or come in a little late. They are very understanding with that sort of stuff and it helps a lot not being stressed if you have a Dr. appt or similar issue. They are not watching the clock for every minute you come in and leave. Get your work done, meet your deadlines and do your job - and you will be treated like an adult, not a number.
