Management is very inexperienced in their rolls. For instance, a chemist is managing a team of chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, controls engineers, and more, without understanding their rolls in the company. Because of this, there is no direction from management, and projects are complete chaos because decisions are being made by people who don’t understand the systems that they are making decisions on.
