Insane workload, unrealistic ever-shifting timelines with no wiggle room, and no space for individual perspectives. Extremely disorganized, no positive recognition of work—only negative and what we could be doing better. Sharing feedback within team to improve ways of working and output only led to being gaslit and bullied by leadership. No internal HR point of contact or real platform to share feedback. External-facing HR brings in great talent but no employee is empowered to exercise their expertise due to terrible top-down leadership… so the turnover is extremely high. Any amount of informed work and careful strategy can be dropped at the last minute at the whim of the CEO—she is unable to form a line of trust with her employees and thinks she can do everything better herself. There is no focus on leadership and management skills in hiring—only clout and who can provide the most connections to the CEO. Clear favoritism of certain employees. No care for employee wellbeing or individual goals, very limited opportunity for professional growth. No backfilling roles of people who leave across the company, so everyone is constantly slammed and taking on the responsibilities of multiple other people. A lot of work with very little reward. Very toxic. Too much pressure. No work life balance.
