- Non existent line managers who don't care about their employees - Line Management promote people based on how long they spend in the company rather than how productive they are at their job - Line Management are out of touch with people who perform the tasks - Line Management do not have a career plan for their employees - Line Management do not understand many of the systems and tools - Line Management focus too much on 'tick box' style management ensuring they complete their task while ignoring work related problems - Snr. Line Management use 'Excel trackers' as a means of tracking all studies for PAREXEL which is all manual. No database to store such information. - Line Management offer no monthly meetings on the outlook of the company as a whole - No support network (HR or Line Management) - SOP's and WI's require a degree in themselves to translate or understand - Lack of training especially for study start up teams - Financial department dealing with CIS' or CO's are a mess and require leadership - Soft skills seriously need to be addressed. No interpersonal skills or negotiation techniques evident. If plan A does not work then there is complete panic. - Teams do not take accountability for work completed - Too many work arounds for every task - SME's identified are not qualified to offer advice due to lack of knowledge - NO RECOGNITION or any extra work performed to either improve a process or deliverable - Expectation of working 14hr days is not frowned upon as a result of overloading with work - NO BONUS - Offices are smelly, poor office equipment, laptops are ancient and far too slow
