I was given a lot of responsibility early on in my time at Partner which was great since I was basically right out of college. There were some pains, but overall I enjoyed working here, gained a lot of experience, and would recommend it to any early-career professionals. - Great place to gain technical knowledge and build the resume - Fun work culture, great people who are fun, laidback, intelligent, collaborative, and care about sustainability (the people were probably my favorite part) - In my role, I was given a lot of independence and project ownership - Incredible diversity - Industry-leading company, felt proud to work there - Middle managers (technical managers) are fantastic individuals who were especially supportive and hard working - Ample opportunities to work on projects for other teams if you voice interest - Organized tools, file storage, product line services, and resource allocation

- Pay was fairly low - Impact wasn't strong/work wasn't particularly fulfilling - Benefits were average at best - Business had a lot of seasonality. I regularly worked 45-50hrs/wk throughout the year (consistently in spring/summer) - Management limited my opportunities to learn certain skills because I didn't have an engineering degree (later there were some opportunities to work on other teams' projects) - Working on a small but very busy team meant feeling guilty when taking vacations. Another team member avoided them entirely because of this - Career paths were unclear for those in my role - Before the pandemic, there was a strict in-office policy. No remote work was allowed. - Occasional layoffs, even before the pandemic
