Svantaggi

Paws to Pavement was the best when before it changed. The company changed to RoRo Teddy Co in March of 2018. This included a new owner. The new owner was a horror to work with. I genuinely can not understand how she is able to run a business. The red flags were there since my first communication with her. I heard from her one time, after nearly waiting a week from the two times I emailed her. Scheduling was a huge issue. Before the change, the cancellation/change policy was 8 am the day of the walk. Clients also needed to have their schedule set by Sunday evening. The new owner allowed clients to cancel or add on on 10 am the day of. Most of the time, you have already started your day. Whenever I would text her about the changes, she would either blame the app or the clients. It was very stressful for her to allow clients change whenever they please, as you already have a busy scedhule with several walks to fit in one window. Getting my pay check from her was the most difficult thing in existence. I had to pick up my check, which was not a huge deal, but her residence was in a high traffic area. She told me check's would be available at x time. Almost every time I showed up, sitting through 30+ minutes of traffic, it would not be there. I would text her, wait an hour, and not hear from her. She would text me back three to fours hours after the fact. It was the same excuse every time. This was never an issue when it was Paws. She kept telling me she wanted me to enroll in direct deposit. I obviously did not want to, and she shouldn't have given employees the option to elect for a paper check. Even after I left the company, when I went to pick up my finally pay check after sitting in 45 minutes of traffic, it was not there. I texted her I arrived for my check. She again did not reply until hours after the fact. Communication is non-existent. The prior area manager never took hours to reply. There were times I would text her about updates and she never reply. Shouldn't you communicate with your employees? Expect zero communication on her end. Prior to the company changing, I was told pay would be comparable. By no means was it comparable. I went from making $250-$300 when it was slow, to making $170-180 a week. Not comparable. She was only paying me $12 and was advertising $12.50 pay. I had been with the company for nine months before all of the changes, there was no reason for the low pay. She also advertised for a gas stipend, which I never got. Overall, I would not recommend working with her.
