Vantaggi
I spent over 3 and a half working at Paybase and must say I have been treated remarkably well. This was my first professional position and I entered with a very competitive salary - which increased and continued to be generous throughout my time there. There is a huge emphasis on company culture, with £1500 a month available to ensure everyone is enjoying their work. This included weekly lunches from Deliveroo, team lunches out and post-work drinks, events such as the Crystal Maze, go karting, Taste of London and much more. But more importantly, it's not the kind of company to just throw money at perks and hope it makes people stay. No matter how much you spend, you can't buy an atmosphere. At Paybase, there is a genuine commitment to collaboration across departments, with all team meetings, hackathons etc, which makes the environment very enjoyable. I have held 4 different roles at Paybase and when one of my roles became less relevant, I was asked which area of the business I would like to move into and provided with the training to make that happen (Paybase offers all employees a £1000 a year training fund to help them develop into the career they want). To me this symbolises the culture of Paybase - they treat you very well because they want you to succeed, and in turn you want to throw yourself into the business. It's just a really nice place to work. I cannot fault it.
Svantaggi
If anybody has any issues at work there are multiple opportunities to raise and address them. In 3 and a half years I've never seen a suggestion to improve the work life at Paybase be turned down. There are no cons. If you have one, the management will sort it as soon as they can.
