Benefits are good and there are WFH opportunities. It was a good place to work when I first started over a decade ago, but now it’s a different place.

It’s the McDonald’s of payroll. You’re just getting by all day with unrealistic expectations. You get a promotion then they’ll demote you to customer service if they need more people on the floor due to the high turnover over. Payroll is actual expertise, you have to know your tax laws and regulations, but a lot of new hires don’t have the time to learn bc they just need them open on the phones

People and the overall environment is a positive one. If you do your part, definite long term career potential. It’s not easy- but stable, growing. Worth serious consideration for early career looking for sales experience with a great training program. Also good for mid-career consideration if base salary isn’t the primary reason you are in sales.

Svantaggi

Very fast pace that doesn’t suit everyone. If you are looking for easy or just a job to “hang out”, this probably isn’t the right spot for you.

Literally just being able to work fully remote, but not much else

Pay is ridiculously low for the expected effort and tasks needed to handle client sales and after sales nurturement. About 1/3 of sales team ever hits the monthly quota. You get 13% commissions of deal size which typical deal size is anywhere from $700-$1500, 13% of that is less than $200 gross for huge amount of work load per deal for the client to just end up canceling and commissions gets clawed back.
