What was discussed in interview didn't match with actual job. The interviewers made it sound like we would have robust and meaningful discussions with participants on saving for retirement, actual role turns out to be more data-entry related and generally aren't allowed to discuss much of anything with participants.
Company culture also felt misleading during the interview process. The managers are very well dressed, professional, and polished; giving the impression that the team would also be this way. Well, upon being hired and seeing the team I'd be working with, the co-workers are too casual, no real dress code, felt really unprofessional at times. Wish I was given a tour of the department I'd be working in during my interview, if so, I never would have taken the job!
This role is good for someone young, who's just starting out, but if you have experience working at big financial firms in conservative professional environments, you'll feel mismatched at Paychex. Its like going from a 5-Star Restaurant to a Diner.
