- underpaid. one of the lowest pay rates for this position that I’ve seen among ABA clinics. I was being paid 15.50/hr while some of my peers made less even while there for years longer. - pay schedule is only twice a month (15th and 31st) - CONSTANT schedule changes. you have to keep your schedule refreshed on your phone frequently throughout the day because it will most likely change and they might not even notify you - poor communication from admin. environment is very gossipy and unprofessional - you are required to use your earned PTO hours when absent for any reason. This includes sick days, any appointments, or any reason you may have for calling in. It even includes increment weather days when the school is forced to close! As if we planned bad weather - understaffed. you will constantly be given a child from a different team/caseload with minimal to no warning or help even if you have no experience observing or working with them, which often leads to a stressful session - can only apply for a $1 raise after your first year. then if you get approved, you have to wait 1.5 years to apply for another $1 raise.
