      The potential for projected earnings is 2 years out at a minimum. There is lots to learn. You learn most in the field but the number of details, between sizing, jam depth, handing, glass, hardware, with no margin for error, eats any commission earned. You are charged for every error. The habits of the company are constantly changing. The processes of selling, order verifying, submitting orders, installation change every quarter. The management style is very negative. There is no life-work balance as you are expected to be available 24-7.

      Great product, hours were good, and good culture overall. I worked there for well over 10 years and was very sad to leave.

      The Birmingham branch went through several owners during my long tenure with the company. Each owner had its pros and cons. Eventually Birmingham was bought out by the corporate office. The company constantly changing owners gave alot of anxiety and employees were often left feeling a lack of stability. There is not alot of room for growth and the starting pay is not the best, unless you are in Trade sales.
