Adjuncting Hell - Recensione dipendente - Adjunct Professor presso Penn State

Admin clearly expects adjuncts (in my case at least) to just pass students through at the minimum acceptable grade for continuation. I took the job for personal and professional reward, certainly not for the pay. It was the most demoralizing experience in my teaching career to be pressured to pass medical-track students who cannot do the equivalent of middle-school pre-algebra. The implicit view among too many, faculty and admin is that a student cannot fail on his own. Therefore, it must be the professor's fault. Shameful. Smells like cowardice.
