Vantaggi
As an employee at Peopletoo, I saw several strengths that made our company a unique and rewarding place to work. Many of my colleagues shared a strong public sector ethos, which brought a sense of purpose and dedication to our work. Through procurement frameworks, we had the opportunity to engage in a variety of interesting and worthwhile projects that allowed us to make a significant impact in our field. Our growing involvement in the health sector was particularly exciting, as it enabled us to provide comprehensive support across health and social care, expanding our service offerings and creating diverse opportunities for everyone on the team.
Svantaggi
However, working at Peopletoo also came with its challenges. It often felt like we lacked a unified direction, with employees not always working towards common goals, which could lead to inefficiencies and a fragmented approach. There was a noticeable level of internal competition that fostered a toxic atmosphere, and I witnessed instances of bullying and unhelpful behaviours from some senior leaders, which only added to the problem. Transparency from leadership was lacking, making it hard to trust in the company's direction. Additionally, the compulsory attendance at team meetings and other obligations made it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance, resulting in increased stress and potential burnout for many of us.
