Customer projects are diverse and interesting. There was some work-life balance at different stages of delivery projects. Some colleagues we great to work with. It's trying to improve but I doubt it will be able to scale with its current mindset.

My two years at Perficient were a roller coaster. People left in droves over the past years due to Perficient's draconian policies and very short project runway. When projects are low, they let people go, even their best people, and the rest that remain have to constantly pick up the pieces. Over time, those that are left that are not in the same league one would expect of a solid consulting firm, and do whatever is possible to keep their jobs. The practice leadership is made up by mostly people with liberal arts degrees that have limited understanding or appreciation of technology and true consulting management. In the West Coast, where I worked, the culture was very tribal, the leadership is made up of old girls and boys network, and their friends, that came from NTT Centerspace, who give each other preferential treatment for billable work and promotions. Others come and go, but those in the tribe are always safe.

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
