Salary compensation only okay and there is heavy bureaucracy at times. Large annual meetings are way too long and therefore wasteful in terms of lost opportunity cost (away from the field too long) and direct cost (e.g. lodging and feeding up 500 employees for 5 days). And, by the way, making mid and late career professionals share a hotel room at these meetings is just cheap.
