CEO Mahe and his brother Hari are visionaries and they truly care about the vision and principles behind the company - it’s not just about making money and slinging product. Everyone at the company “drinks the Kool-Aid in the best way possible.. you can feel the love for the people the organization serves, the people within the company itself as well as the product. With the encouragement and motivation to better yourself at Phenom, it’s not just a job, it becomes a positive way of life.

As an aggressive/disruptive startup, work-life balance isn’t really in the vocabulary but other perks did make up for this. As a salesperson, some territories are tougher than others (which has likely changed by now). Canada was targeted the same as the US without accounting for exchange rate, smaller budgets or smaller size of territory.

There is a significant lack of direction within the CV team, with constantly shifting priorities and inconsistent delivery cycles. Methods and tools change frequently, and data collection is manual and inconsistent, frustrating both clients and employees. Furthermore, there is a lack of knowledge sharing between teams, which exacerbates inefficiencies. Leadership also lacks a clear vision for the department’s future, and there is no intuitive framework to streamline processes or deliver value more efficiently, creating ongoing friction for the team.
