The position allows the freedom and flexibility to work both out in the field or in the office. The AE role allows a nice family work life balance as long as you meet your goals. The sales staff is extremely supportive of each other’s success and lacks the rivalry that most sales environments suffer. We are comfortable to speak opening and share ideas, daily struggles and if something isn’t working with a current initiative.

The sales teams must work in cubicles and have no privacy when marking client calls. There is also a small staff so it often takes longer to get things done as everyone has a full work load. Transparency is lacking when it comes to the disclosing sales goal expectations which often gives the feeling of micro management. The CRM is more challenging than helpful to the sales team. Frequent evening & weekend hours are required as the sales and editorial teams must be present at all hosted events.
