They market their business as everyone being on the same level and to surround yourself with the best people possible. Ironically, some of the worst people have formed and work for this company. They care very little about their employees, which is disheartening as an intern who is just trying to learn about the field. In my personal experience, I was hired and asked to attend trainings, meetings, and 1-1 sessions with the person that hired me. I was super enthusiastic to start the position, but I kept getting dragged along. I was promised that I was able to start within days of my hiring date, however was still not working after 4 weeks of no pay (and still attending trainings and meetings). I expressed my financial concerns (this was during the summer of COVID) and was ignored, forcing me to seek employment elsewhere.
