      Smart and friendly coworkers, average compensation, good health insurance

      Toxic and incompetent upper management filled with paper pushers who don't understand the first thing about the technologies and teams they're supposed to 'manage'. Forced RTO with management checking badge swipes. High pressure environment (god forbid you're allowed to be human and make a mistake), and little to no work-life balance. Upper management seems to like running every department with the bare minimum amount of staff, preferring skeleton crews, even for technology teams who are engineering and maintaining business-critical, revenue-generating applications

      I came from a competitor firm. Not actually a con to me but I noticed worse employee perks e.g. no dinner provided on Uber etc

      Excellect company culture, beautiful offices, very good compensation and benefits, amazing opportunities for professional development

      Very fast paced and innovative with high expectations, if you aren't a fast learner and highly adaptive you won't last here. It's a hedge fund so be prepared for some serious egos, but generally speaking the people are quite nice. They don't have a CFO, so it sometimes feels like central coordination/strategy is lacking to the back office finance function.
