Bad management - Recensione dipendente - Plant Operator presso Pregis

Management never seems to know what is going on, seemingly due to a lack of communication. They will not hire people fast enough so there is constant forced sixteen hour shifts. Over the last several years it has only gotten worse. Current upper management seem like they do not care (and are maybe even willing) to shut the doors on this place for good. This is even to the point of bragging that this would be their fifth plant in a row that they were involved in shutting down! Working weekends used to be a relatively rare necessity but now we pretty much work seven days a week. Needless to say, this leads to distrust amongst employees and management. This causes a sort of feedback loop where there is an attitude of contempt for the employees, and in response, the employees have it for management as well. Ultimately this has lead to employee burnout and a negative environment that just destroys any good morale.
