I started my recruiting career at a big box agency. Initially it was a great position but overtime the nonessential tasks of KPI, meetings, office-politics started to weigh on me. I was on the verge of abandoning recruiting, but I gave ProTek Partners a shot and I haven’t looked back. I was given an opportunity to leave a staffing firm and join a great team! It may sound too good to be true, but it is the best firm to work with! There are no KPI's, Draws, or limit on territories/skill sets. Excellent compensation, salaries, recruiters, management etc. Working from home is a huge benefit as well!

I have worked for 2 other agencies before joining ProTek and can honestly say this is my favorite for several reasons! I love the autonomy of ProTek – like with any other staffing agency you have to work hard to be successful, however at ProTek you have more time to do your job as you’re not boggled down with a bunch of internal meetings (only 1 meeting per week!), and working remotely saves time and is excellent for work/life balance, so ultimately you have more time to do what you're here for... place people in great jobs! I also value that every day is a learning experience. At many larger companies you have several teams/layers, operations, legal, etc. while at ProTek you get to do so much more and grow professionally. Personally, I like being part of the entire process – from on-boarding contractors, to reviewing MSAs. We also have some great clients and management keeps working on growing and adding more people, which is always a positive sign in my book. Further, we have the best CRM (Salesforce) for recruiting/growing a strong candidate base - it truly is the best tool I've used. Lastly, the management team is awesome!

The bigger we get, the better we need to get about communicating and making sure everyone is on the same page - easier to be done in an office setting, so it's always a work in progress.
