Promises training and CPD but rarely follows up on this, a lot of the time staff are left to "wing it" and simply read modules on their screen as a form of training. Unfortunately a private healthcare company that only cares about dollar signs and does very little to assist with staff wellbeing and will sacrifice staff wellbeing over money every time, very little compassion for their team, management at ground level are left picking up the pieces with little to no support and are often scrapegoats for their own shortcomings. There are much better companies than this one to work for I would strongly recommend reconsidering a job with this company. You'll be overworked with no support and very underpaid in comparison to what other companies who appreciate you will offer. This is a company with no heart, looks great on paper but that's far from the case. This company needs to dig deeper and have a think about how they treat their staff - they're human beings after all not just employees with dollar signs over their head.

I learnt a lot about what to ask and what to get in writing before signing a contract.

Workplace bullying was rampant. They promised to support me financially to continue my post grad study but they said they only would if I switched majors. Something I had been studying for a year already when they employed me. Management were clearly stressed and would pass this onto us. Discovered after a few weeks that employees get paid a bonus when they recruit a new employee. Promised I could choose my own working hours, but then rescinded on that too. CEO probably had no idea I existed. Regional manager gave me a lot of mixed messages about what was expected of me which contradicted my branch manager.
