Vantaggi
Independence, you drive when you want. ( minimum 4 times a month to keep your contract)
Svantaggi
Where do I begin? 1. Pay: The pay basically is $10/hr or less, mostly less because on a long drive, when you minus the amount you spend on food, Uber and sometimes hotel, you’ll be left with probably less than $200 for a 2 day drive. 2. The dispatchers/office people: I strongly believe that these people have favorites or friends who they assign the best routes to. You could be on the app when a delivery pops up, you apply for it almost immediately and you’ll be told someone else got it but the order will still be on the app 24 hours later. They’ll never help you with anything while you’re on the road, infact they’ll quickly remind you that you’re an independent contractor. 3. The routes: the company doesn’t care if your delivery is in the middle of nowhere. You’ll be literarily stuck somewhere with no sign of Uber/Lyft in a 50 mile radius. Once had a $400 order to one such place and I had to spend over $350 to get to my next pickup. If I list everything, there won’t be space here to contain it all. My advice to you: RUN. You’re better off driving Uber or Lyft, at least you get to sleep in your bed every night.
