Everyone I talked to was very nice.

The process took way too long. And ended up being a complete waste of time. First, you speak to a recruiter for the company, then you're passed on to the hiring manager. Then, I believe you still have 1 or 2 more beyond that. I reached out to the hiring manager via email as instructed for following up. That person emailed me back and said the process was taking longer than expected. About a week after that I emailed the recruiter looking for an update on the next step, and was told that they will be making a decision on the next couple weeks. About a month goes by, and I reached out to the recruiter to be told that they filled the position. Why wouldn't they tell me? If I hadn't reached out, I would still be wondering today where I was at in the process.
