Vantaggi
Prosper has a good product, and they have a service that seems to be geared to helping underserved people secure loans, and non-investors invest small amounts to loan to people.
Svantaggi
My main complaint is that I was not given the tools or access to do my job. As DevOps engineers, we were not allowed to access the production environments or even the Non-Prod environment. There were so many gates and hoops to jump through even to get a simple task done. Furthermore, my goals from management were unclear, and undoable in many cases. Separation of duties is very confused, and roles and responsibilities are non existent. My onboarding was a nightmare, and I wasn't given the proper time to come up to speed and learn the things that I needed, not to mention the time to complete the tasks given to me. When it was required that I learn from others, they pretty much ghosted me most of the time. Also, things that are in the "Wiki" and other knowledge repositories are out of date, links don't work, etc., so trying to self-guide and learn about the company and process was like having the wrong textbook for a class.
