The promotion process and quality of people were inconsistent. There were great people and not so great people. And the compensation did not directly refelct whether they were great or not. The company has changed course a few times from riding the SOX bandwagon, to getting thrown off the wagon and having to reinvent itself.

There are some great people to work for and interesting proejcts. You just need to find the great people while avoiding the mediocre. Very good at publishing thought leadership and providing training throughout your career.
