You are not adding any skill sets if you are doing SOX - The leadership is mediocre and not very inspiring - A lot of the clients in smaller offices are unknown - A lot of office politics, seems who likes you is more important than your skills. - No career development, it's basically get the work done and go home, repeat again the next day doing the same exact thing. The difference in type of work done by staff vs managers isn't that big. - Limit your exit options to internal audit if you are in that group. -Clients I've worked with did not respect the "consultants" from protiviti, which means they probably don't respect the company.
