Publix offers great benefits to full time employees. I love people so its perfect for me. Most employees are friendly. Open seven days and late hours so its easy to get your 40 in. No two days are ever the same. It is nice to feel that you are making a positive difference in someones day.

Publix seems to promote men more quickly. Minorities also move up fast. The older you are the less they are inclinded to want to invest training in you. Its not impossible to get through all that but you have to work hard and be persistant. The fluctuating hours can be hard on your sleep schedule.
