purdue is a great place to work and raise a family. there are great schools and the town is comfortable and safe and easy to travel around in. good bus service too if you don't want to drive.

the town is a little boring at times, so its important to get some friends to hang out with on occasion unless you don't mind being alone. there isn't much to do and the town lacks a bit of culture, no museums nor symphony orchestras and what not.
