Good flexible working hours If you have a good lime manager as your CM with the correct level of support - the job is really enjoyable. Bonus structure is achievable.

Financially the business doesn't have a quick enough turn around time for facilities. This impacts the gym directly, no one else. Amount of workload with just 2 managers is extremely heavy, you need to be great at the job to have an effective impact on a club. Older clubs need to be paid attention to, not just invest into new ones. Sometimes Pure cop out and bodge job stuff and don't just go all out to eliminate issues fully. Too much pressure for management to jump in on classes as well as everything else. Feedback system is good however a lot of pressure as falls directly to the gym management which realistically a lot of it isn't in our control to impact.

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
