In their job description and during the interview process they did not disclose the following: - All kilometers and data on your phone, which are both required for the position, are unpaid for and uncompensated. Expect to drive over 2k km a month. - They also did not mention in the job description or during the interview process that you are required to have space in your own home for all of their sales material (signs, folders, posts). This took up half of an entire room. - You have to build the signs for all clients with your own tools - which can take up to an hour of your own time unpaid. - Job description sounds like it's salaried, but it's still commission based on completed appointments and upsells. - If you have children and a sedan, good luck travelling with all their materials and your children at the same time. - All follow ups are unpaid time. - They mentioned that appointments take only 2 hours to complete, however if you are an experienced and ethical Realtor, you can appreciate that it takes more than 2 hours to list a property. - You're taking pictures of houses, rain or shine. - I was encouraged to door knock on my spare time to get more appointments and opportunities. - You're expected to wear a uniform.
