Made me want to leave the fashion industry - Recensione dipendente - Assistant Designer presso Q4 Designs

The division I was in was micromanaged by the creative director, every single item was a direct knock-off (although this seems to be the norm now at many companies in the fashion industry in NY, and they all wonder why they're behind on trend), they dump up to 10 brands on a team of 2 people making it near impossible to ever be creative, expect you to stay late every day even during the slow season, start out with only 8 combined sick and vacation days per year, upper management has some shady practices- doing secret projects behinds licensees backs etc, work environment is disorganized with piles of clothing on the ground everywhere. This place was the nail in the coffin when deciding if I wanted to change careers.
