They say it’s W-2 but it’s not it’s 1099. They have all these additional benefits you get later down the road, but you have to jump through hoops to get them. I’m not sure if anyone actually gets them. They say they’ll pay you a supplement to help you transition into this new position of $3000 a month, but in reality you have to accomplish five sales presentations with your leads And then you can be considered for the “draw “ . They don’t pay you for your time. It’s only commission base but yet you’re expected to attend several weekly meetings and coaching when I started to question why we were required to be at these meetings and said that doesn’t sound like 1099 and in addition, I brought them a good lead. I was told that I was not a good fit. This was after I had a regular conversation with both the manager and CEO informing them that I cannot afford to continue working for them and not receive pay so I will need to work my current position and not be available for all the meetings. They also try to say that this is not selling friends and family but in reality it definitely is you’re only working to give them your lead so they can get a cut of your commission without them having to work. They also expect you to write a policy with them on yourself where they get the commission as well.
