-Qashio, like many startups in this region lacks a clear roadmap to scale. It’s quite funny to me that the company is heading to Europe without even having a clear roadmap to succeed in UAE. Truthfully, it was the worst experience of my life to see how terrible the staff was treated and asked continuously to stay after working hours. The work culture reminds me of India more than UAE. I always felt mentally affected by how often I saw people get bullied and all they could do was smile, because Qashio is their only source of income. Please take care of yourself and think twice before you come here. Life is not worth such a demeaning experience.

My experience with Qashio during the layoff process was unfortunately disappointing. There seemed to be a lack of clear communication and decision-making from management. After being informed about the layoffs, I repeatedly followed up regarding my pending salary and unused leave payments, but I did not receive clear answers or updates. Until today, my salary has still not been paid, and communication has been very limited. Based on conversations with other employees, many also appeared frustrated with the work environment and internal culture. I hope the company improves its communication, accountability, and overall employee support during difficult situations like these.
