The people I worked with are very friendly, the office space is a warm hub. The team is dedicated to create something great, and are invested in helping the company succeed. I got familiar with most of the system and had a good grasp on what the company did, working on production issues often.

Management knows very little (technology-wise), disorderly and does not paint an honest picture of the company's status. As a result the research department had to go under layoffs. Management believes Claude and Junior-Mid devs will solve all of their issues, no tech leads remain. Each all-hands (monthly) had the most amazingly positive prospects for the company's future which directly contradicts the need for layoffs. After the layoffs, any monthly status update feels like a gaslit vision by the CEO
