The Front Desk is a great transition into the Hospitality Industry.

You will not be rewarded positively for excelling. You will be made to work the busiest days and will never have a weekend or holiday off. This isn't a reflection of poor management; it's just how the industry functions. Depending on your franchise owner/management company, even being a Front Desk Agent can be a dead end job. Hotels are exceptionally profitable;however, staff pay is usually very low.
