IT reporting to General Counsel??? - Recensione dipendente - IT Manager presso RSP Permian

Small company execs trying to run a publicly traded company as if it were still their personal private business. Executive management does not share overall vision and goals with the employees. CEO regularly conducts personal business (Pecos something or other) using RSP Permian assets and resources and expects IT staff for RSP Permian to be responsible for supporting this activity. Seemed a bit unethical to me, but I could be wrong. The main focus from the CEO seemed to be standardizing Microsoft Office to one version instead of two, rather than bolstering the infrastructure to support a publicly traded company. IT budget was 245k.
