Benefits are solid. Arching employee culture is good, but executive subculture will be explained in the cons.

If your role at any point intertwines with the CO-CEO, your work life will be just dealing with chaos. The level of indecision and constant changing of direction will leave you to be unsuccessful… and you’ll get blamed for “not being aligned.” Everything runs through one funnel which is the CO-CEO. He makes both strategic and small tactical decisions (like where people sit at the office). There’s no free thought. You have to make it seem like your idea was a brain child of the CO-CEO’s idea. Not sure if it’s an ego thing, or simply lack of trust, but everything is stalled until the CO-CEO says to move. You’re treated as you’re not smart enough to come up with a strategy unless it was brith by the CO-CEO. And when things reach a critical point, you get blamed for stalling. Cane’s spends a ton of money… and when you state that there’s a better way, you’re accused of, again, “not being aligned.” The people that work there are genuine and do good work. Everyone has drank the Kool-Aide and wants to make Todd’s vision happen. The most toxic person unfortunately sits at the top.

-Fellow peers are often lovely to be around and helpful. -3 of 10 managers at my store are genuinely nice. -Flexible scheduling. -Our regular customers are very nice. -Pay is decent. -Easy work, even when busy. (Although it can be stressful from time to time.

-Only 50% off meals for crew. -Favoritism of crew members by management is abundant. -Bad hours, they keep shifts short if you aren't favorited. -They rely on the majority of their crew being teenagers and not knowing their rights. -Crew is often refused breaks when upper-management visits. (They will comp meals if you ask, but if you don't they will try to get away without it.) -Certain managers constantly berate and belittle crew members. -Because the company is growing more corporate and profit focused, it is becoming less focused on doing right by the crew and treating them well. -Everything has become more and more about penny-pushing and overzealous metrics. -The company likes to portray themselves as being crew-focused and wanting to support the little guy, but that is not how they actually conduct themselves in the treatment of their team.
