If you are expecting guidance, feedback and training, then you will be disappointed. Management expects you to learn on your own and to work independently. You will only be responsible for the candidate part of recruiting. You will hand your screened candidates over to the account management assigned to the open req. Consequently you will have to be able to completely trust your account manager for this part of the recruitment process, which often leads to communication errors and frustration. Furthermore, I've noticed that technical recruiters who did not stand their ground often had to deal with a lack of respect from the account managers.
