So what a lot of people don’t know is that a car protection program is not the same as insurance. It’s more like an extended warranty. While insurance covers accident-related damage and theft, we cover stuff that just happens and is not covered by your warranty or dealership plan. A lot of the confusion--from workers and clients-- is that they think we’re responsible for doing more than we can. I’ve had clients call with ridiculous demands, like to furnish them with a new car because of a dent, and I’ve had to explain thoroughly what it is that we do. Those times can be stressful, but if you’re good at dealing with people, it can be a really rewarding place to work. I’ve been here for almost two years and I really don’t have that many complaints other than the fact that people shouldn’t expect any auto protection company to do the impossible!
