The culture around the office was top notch: games, inter-office competitions, friendly staff. Many people were able to travel internationally to trade shows, which are hard work, but rewarding. Smart people.

Everything happens at the whim of the CEO - for good or for bad. If he wanted to have the office take a random day off, it was great. But there seemed to be very little consistency in his decision making. Decisions were based on his opinion rather than sound business reasoning. If he thought it was cool and trendy to be involved in some trade show or to make a certain product, the company would do it with no real goals or reasoning. It seemed that others on the executive team were too timid to push back.
