Decent office perks, snacks, occasional staff lunches and happy hours, but it stops there.

If you're considering this company, and you are an experienced professional, you might find a few issues here. They operate by trial and error and are very quick to lay off staff in the process. Something I was warned about by a now former employee, when I started. They learn what they can out of you, then dismiss you if they find out something that didn't quite come out as their guessing brains expected. Don't expect any training. Some leaders are expected to perform only based on experience in other fields, with very little insight on how to thrive in the home renovation business. Maybe they would tell if they knew, but it's not the case there. They are out there looking to hire top-talent, (I can tell they asked people to write reviews here) but the reality is that they can't handle top-talent. I work with some of the smartest and knowledgeable people I ever did, and I can tell that the leadership doesn't know how to get the most out of them. Highly praised employees are leaving the company because they see the red flags. The constant talk about the company being sold or partnering with a new PE translates into a feel of uncertainty. Which, it would not be an issue if they had loyalty to employees and a part of their culture. Let's not even go there, by the way. It's another butt-covering measure. Here's an example. They started a new mental health/wellness program a few months back. They made it mandatory for you to participate. A superficial strategy, but okay if it actually ends up helping someone. But a few weeks back, all of a sudden without any warning, they lay off about 30 people in one day, because of some so-called change in direction, automatically labeling their highly experienced hires undrainable. Not sure if they extended the mental health coverage to those unfortunate folks… they would probably tell Renuity to shove it. To wrap this up, if you're into gambling with your career, give them a shot. It might work for interns or innocent souls that still get impressed by a nice office. But once they discover that there's no long term loyalty, they might be on their way to another job, or find out the hard way it was a bad choice.

Sales and production teams are not on the same page and are not encouraged to be. This creates job-site hardships and a disrupted customer experience. Sales operates with virtual impunity regardless of the customer experience. Production team members bear a disparate proportion of the responsibility, and it's their compensation that suffers the greatest when being held responsible for the customer experience. Additionally, know that when you come to work for Renuity you are absolutely working for a corporation. Expect extreme micromanagement and decisions that effect ground level operations and procedures to be dictated by people who've likely never held a tool.
